Good morning. Before your day begins, take a pause. Breathe slowly and remember that God is here with you.

⁸Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. ⁹The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. ¹⁰All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

The Word

Psalms 143:8

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Prayer

Show me the way

My God, let me feel your unfailing love this morning. I have put my trust in you, and today I need you to guide me. There are small and big decisions ahead of me, and I don't always know which step is right. I lift up my soul to you and ask you to show me the way I should go. When I doubt, give me clarity; when I take a wrong turn, correct me gently. I don't want to walk without you or follow my own whims. May every step of this day bring me closer to you and to your will. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
